Why we participate in Best Agers Lighthouses
We care about every worker and seek to create favorable work-conditions, in order to make a more effective and long-lasting profit of their knowledge and experience. Participating in "Best Agers Lighthouses" will create a possibility to have access to best practices of other countries and adapt innovative methods of age management.

We already ensure well-being of professional activities by establishing working project management and personnel management centers for our more than 2764 employees, among them 1036 professors. Our "ageing activities" include an employees union, uniting university present and retired former employees, and a veteran club Emeritus which embraces university teachers, researchers and administrative staff. Additionally, we have created a legal and material basis for work and personal life balance. We offer a healthy aging environment, a range means of leisure, health opportunities and possibility to participate in artistic activities. We believe that everyone working or studying at our university should be given the opportunity to enjoy a favourable work environment.
